Q. I don’t have an email address, how can I apply?
A. You can get a free email account from a number of suppliers including Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail and AOL.
Q. How can I find out what job opportunities are available at Anglia Ruskin University?
A. You can 'search' for current opportunities and apply online. You can also register for email 'job alerts' which allows you to receive notification of our very latest jobs.
Q. I’ve just completed an online application, what happens next?
A. You’ll receive an email confirming that we’ve received your application.
Q. When will I know if my application has been successful?
A. Once the vacancy has closed we’ll let you know as soon as possible, via email, if you’ve been successful in proceeding to the next stage.
Q. Can I send a speculative CV?
A. We don’t accept speculative CVs/applications, however you can register for email job alerts and we’ll email you when jobs you may be interested in become available.
Q. When must I get my application in by?
A. Each vacancy has a closing date for applications.
Q. I’m not a British / EEA national. Can I still apply for advertised jobs?
A. Please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website for information about your eligibility and further information in relation to the points based immigration system.
Q. I cannot make the interview date/time I've been allocated, is it possible to change it?
A. Unfortunately it’s not normally possible to re-arrange interview dates. If you’re unable to attend at the allocated time please Contact us or call 01245 684900.
Q. How do I get feedback on my application if I'm unsuccessful?
A. If requested, we’ll provide feedback to candidates who have attended an interview. Please email us at jobs@aru.ac.uk
