About the role:
Your can-do attitude will enable you to assist the Catering Operations Manager with food, beverage and hospitality services. You will provide catering for meetings and events, preparing simple food items, delivering food and beverages to meeting rooms, setting up for events, and keeping a clean hospitality preparation area. You’ll take pride in providing a high-quality hospitality service. You will also work in our catering outlets, serving customers, operating tills, as well as working in the pot wash and unpacking deliveries. You will take pride in maintaining a clean and attractive environment for customers.
Although a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, basic food preparation and till experience are desirable, a willingness to learn is more important. We’re happy to offer full training, as well as opportunities for further development, including qualifications. Good communication skills and a strong customer focus are essential.
Working hours will depend on the business so flexibility will be required. Shifts will vary between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm. This will be on a rota basis and notice will be given. In addition, occasional evening and weekend working will be required, for which advance notice will be given.
