About the Role:

You’ll be joining our Events team and will take the lead role in delivering our July and November Graduation ceremonies across all 3 of our cities, Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough. You’ll play an important role in the further development of the graduate experience ensuring guest satisfaction is at the heart of everything we deliver. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on other corporate events outside of the scope of graduations as they arise such as our Vice Chancellors staff awards ceremony. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of stakeholder relationships including our wide range of suppliers including graduation photography and gowning.

With a passion for events you’ll have demonstrable experience of working on events from initial concept through to on the day delivery. Supervisory skills are desirable. With a degree or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level, or with demonstrable appropriate level of experience and evidence of CPD relevant to the role, you’ll also need to be comfortable with working outside of usual hours and overnight stays may be required.

It is expected that interviews will take place on Tuesday 9th July. Informal enquiries can be made to Alice Asher, Senior Events Manager, at alice.asher@aru.ac.uk
