About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with the required skills and experience to join the Business Intelligence Service within the Strategic Planning and Performance Directorate. Reporting to one of our Data Insight Managers, you will utilise qualitative and quantitative data, applying appropriate analytical tools and techniques to derive meaningful and actionable insights that inform decision-making, enabling the University to achieve its strategic priorities. You will support the preparation and presentation of data analysis reports and recommendations for various audiences.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking a part-time role (4 days, 29.6 hours a week with flexibility to work for 2-3 days from home) with strong analytical and data modelling skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. This person should be confident working with large data sets. A background in Higher Education is not essential for this role.
The role requires excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, alongside proactivity, resilience, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
With a relevant degree or professional qualification, you will have experience in using a range of tools and advanced techniques combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
