About the Role:

 

To achieve our strategic goals, we require two experienced advisers to join our progressive Employability Service. We have two vacancies, one full time permanent role and one full time Maternity cover for up to 12 months. Both will be working with students and graduates to develop life-long employability skills and to secure graduate opportunities.

 

Main responsibilities of the role include providing one to one and group support to students, preparation of engaging career related materials, delivering workshops and lectures both within and outside the curriculum as well as organising employer events and offering research-based labour market information to academic staff as well as students. You will work with a range of stakeholders including employers, alumni and faculty colleagues to increase the number of students securing work placements and graduate opportunities. 

 

With a degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification, ideally related to careers or coaching, you will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills as well as a commitment to delivering student success. Excellent organisational and communication skills and experience of working with students, graduates or a similar, ensuring our highly regarded team continue to provide outstanding results to our students and Faculties.
