About the Role:

Responsible for all aspects of the planning, acquisition, provisioning and security of the systems and services that comprise ARU’s on-campus and cloud-based user experience, our Head of User Infrastructure will provide senior leadership for the teams responsible for the delivery of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure and other cloud services, the implementation and management of end-user devices and application virtualisation and the design and delivery of audio-visual and multimedia solutions in our teaching spaces, as well as co-leading our cybersecurity response.

 

A member of our IT Services Management Team, representing us internally and externally at a senior level, the post holder will be influential in the success of the department.

 

With a higher degree or a relevant professional qualification as well as significant professional experience relevant to the role, you will have a background of cloud-based service management, experience of working with a range of technologies scaled to a medium-sized (1000+ employee) corporate environment and a proven record of positive and supportive people management.

 

Previous experience of supplier management is essential. Knowledge of IT service management frameworks would be advantageous.
