About the Role:

Based in our Superlab on our Chelmsford Campus, your priority will be providing laboratory technical support to our Allied Health Science Team. You’ll need to provide all the resources required to run all the practical sessions taking place in the Superlab whilst aiming to enhance the student experience at all times.

 

With a minimum of two A levels (including chemistry) or equivalent, you’ll have demonstratable experience of running an educational or commercial laboratory,. Sound knowledge of all basic laboratory equipment and processes is essential.. Prior supervisory experience is desirable as you’ll be dealing with large numbers of students and academics. You’ll be in charge of health and safety within the Superlab so prior formal training in this would be desirable. You’ll need to be comfortable with working with minimal guidance and be flexible since requirements vary daily.
