About the Role:
We’re recruiting a Lecturer in Midwifery at our Chelmsford campus. This posts will include teaching and support of both pre- and post-registration midwifery students as well as contributing to the teaching of a range of other health care professionals including nurses and paramedics.
With a degree and higher degree or relevant professional qualification at post-graduate level, you must hold a current registration with the NMC as a Midwife. You’ll have extensive experience of midwifery practice and/ or midwifery education, excellent written and oral communication skills, and be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office. You’ll be able to think innovatively and meet deadlines, sometimes under pressure. You will be expected to contribute to curriculum development and work co-operatively and as part of a team. With an enthusiastic and flexible approach and good interpersonal and negotiating skills, you’ll demonstrate commitment to our values with a willingness to contribute to the collective life of the Faculty.
