At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

 

About the role:

Writtle College is offering an exciting opportunity for a Land-based Service Engineer to join our team in delivering a new national apprenticeship scheme for CNH (Case & New Holland) apprentices. In this role, you will collaborate with a small team of experienced former industry engineers to provide both practical and theoretical instruction in the workshop and classroom.

 

You will be involved in developing the programme, liaising with employers, partnering with the training centre at CNH Basildon, and making site visits across the UK. Close collaboration with colleagues in the Writtle College Further Education teams will also be necessary.

 

If you have an interest in servicing and repairing agricultural machinery, working with the latest high-tech equipment, if you enjoy working with young adults and are eager to learn new technical subjects and teaching methods, this is your opportunity! You’ll hold an appropriate endorsed Teaching Qualification or be willing to commence studies within 1 year of employment.
