About the Role:

We are seeking to recruit a high calibre research active academic to work in the School of Computing and Information Science (CIS) based at our Cambridge campus. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and teach topics in the area of Artificial Intelligence and its applications and general computing. This position will also require the preparation of funding bids for research funding, to generate external income, knowledge transfer, consulting activities, supervision of research students and the development and maintenance of collaborative links with industry.

 

The areas of specialism to be covered include but are not limited to Artificial Intelligence Techniques and their applications to health, digital innovation and various technology domains. Sound knowledge of both underpinning theory and practical skills needed in the agreed areas is expected.

 

With a PhD or near completion (within 18 months) and a strong background in computer science and artificial intelligence, you’ll be creative, motivated, with an enthusiastic approach. You’ll have a record of academic achievements consistent with your current career level.
