ARU’s research institutes and four faculties bridge scientific, technical and creative fields.  We deliver impactful research which tackles pressing issues and makes a real difference to our communities.  Our academic excellence has been recognised by the UK’s Higher Education funding bodies, with 16 of our research areas assessed as world leading. We are the largest provider of Nursing, Midwifery, Health and Social Care students in the East of England, and we are also among the UK’s leading universities for degree apprenticeship provision, working with hundreds of employers across the UK.

About the Role:

The School of Engineering and the Built Environment delivers successful undergraduate, post graduate and degree apprenticeship courses and has several successful partnerships in China.  We are seeking an experienced construction project management lecturer to teach construction management, project management, construction technology and contract administration across all levels in the UK and in China.  It is expected that the teaching in China will be for up to four weeks on two occasions each year.  The teaching will be in English.  At the same time, the successful applicant will contribute to the school’s research programme.  We are particularly interested in those that can make a positive contribution to research in the area of sustainability.

You will have a relevant first degree and PhD or Professional Doctorate (or nearing completion) in a related discipline, and teaching experience in Higher Education and/or relevant professional practice.
