About the Role: 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to support the University in achieving its strategic objectives by working in the Solutions Development team as a principal solutions developer. 

 

Working in an established and well-formed team, this role will help deliver solutions via the use of C# .net, web-services, web-applications, web-APIs, and integrating/transporting data across many of the university’s key systems. 

 

We use an agile approach to our software development, organising our work using agile methodologies. More recently we have started to move towards a devops way of working.  

 

You will be involved with many of the core activities within the software development lifecycle, from designing, developing, unit-testing, etc, to ensure solutions are delivered to a high level of quality that add real value to the university. 

 

As an excellent communicator with a Degree and substantial and relevant experience as a senior software developer, you will have experience of working with a broad range of technologies and possess excellent logical analysis, and team working experience. 

 

Key Skills; C# .net (Framework & Core), SQL-Server, GIT, Agile/Scrum and Azure/Devops.
