About the Role:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional to join our Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Adviser.

This is a key role in ensuring the safety and welfare of students at Writtle College by providing help, support and appropriate responses to staff and students.

To succeed in your application, it is vital that you have experience of working with young people and practical knowledge of following statutory guidance in working with young people and/or vulnerable adults, as well as dealing with confidential/sensitive issues including Safeguarding and Prevent. You will have a degree, or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level appropriate to the role, or have demonstrable appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role.

Informal enquiries can be made to Jo Wareham Designated Safeguarding Lead at jo.wareham@aru.ac.uk

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of our staff and students and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants should be aware that ARU will carry out online searches as part of the due diligence on short listed candidates.
