About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Student Ambassador Coordinator to join the Schools and Colleges Engagement team to support delivery against our Corporate Marketing Strategy, Student Recruitment Agenda and Access and Participation Plan.

 

The post holder will lead and co-ordinate all aspects of the Schools & Colleges Engagement Team’s Student Ambassador (SA) Scheme, ensuring we have a diverse pool of role models to support local young people, applicants and offer holders at all ARU campuses. The post will be the central point of contact for all SA enquiries internally and externally, and will also be responsible for supporting the professional development of current ARU students with their SA role,

 

We are seeking a self-motivated and highly engaging individual with experience of supporting and developing Higher Education (HE) students in a strategic, educational setting. With a degree, or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level, you’ll be comfortable managing multiple tasks with excellent administrative skills and attention to detail. Previous experience of devising and delivering training to students, supervision of staff, and excellent customer service skills in an external facing role is essential, alongside the ability to maintain and report on data.

 

Based at either our Cambridge, Chelmsford or Peterborough campus, you’ll work in the office at least one day per week, with the option of home-based working for the other four days. Regular travel within the Eastern Region and between all ARU campuses is essential. Occasional work outside of normal office hours is expected in the evenings and at weekends.

 

It is expected that 1-hour face-to-face interviews will take place on Thursday 19 December 2024 (campus tbc)
