About the Role:
In this varied role, you’ll work as part of a small team, to ensure the provision of a range of day to day services including opening and closing the building, cash handling, porterage, room layouts, collection/delivery of post and such other duties as required. This is a customer focussed role, involving a substantial amount of manual handling and requiring an open and flexible approach.
You will have a range of GCSEs at A-C grade or equivalent. You’ll be an effective team player and have the ability to effectively evaluate priorities whilst working from your own initiative. You’ll have some relevant experience in a service-related field, and ideally experience of working within a large multi-site organisation.
You will be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, you’ll also have the ability to work with practical and standardised routines, taking a methodical approach to your work. You’ll utilise excellent communication skills at all times and will have an understanding of basic Health and Safety issues. You’ll work an 8 hour shift between 07.00 21.00 Mon - Fri (Including an unpaid 30 mins break), but may be required to work on occasions between 0700-1915hrs. Flexibility in working hours is essential for this role. There may also be opportunities for paid overtime on a Saturday and on occasions during the week.
